HERE IS WHY WE 'LOVE' OUR BOLLARDS

HERE IS WHY WE 'LOVE' OUR BOLLARDS

ROAD SAFETY

Our bollards are designed to improve safety for vehicles, motorists, pedestrians and cyclists. Thanks to the impact absorption and flexible properties of the vulcanised rubber, low speed collision will leave practically no damage to the bollard or the vehicle.

WORTHY INVESTEMENT

At the start of this year, we have, for the first time ever, replaced one of our bollards, which was repeatedly driven into, several times a day for 11 years. We are very proud to have been able to monitor this great achievement.

SUSTAINABILITY

Over 50% of every single one of our bollards is manufactured from recycled rubber from the production of V-belts and transmission belts. We thereby reduce the amount of waste material and by doing so helping our environment.

HEAVY DUTY & FLEXIBLE DESIGN

To bend the bollard to an angle of up 40 degrees the minimum collision force required is 200KG. Each bollards can handle different force and following an impact the bollard will raise back to its upright position undamaged, causing none to very minimal damage to the car.

FLEXIBILITY

Bendy bollard is flexible and does not lose its flexibility even at -25° (it will of course get somewhat more rigid though). The binder that is used in the raw material is a special conveyor belt rubber that is required to be flexible down to -30°C.

CHEMICALS RESISTANCE

The bollard is resistant to chemicals, petrol, etc. in quantities that are above the normal level for the average street environment. The bollards have been also tried under fire test and after being exposed to -1000°C, the bollard stayed on fire for two seconds before self-extinguishing.

HIGH VISIBILITY

Reflective tape, signs, ‘eyes’, eyelets, etc. are easily mounted onto the BENDY bollards. The colour of the reflective tape available are yellow, white and red.

COST EFFECTIVE & LONG LASTING

Our bollards are long lasting and essentially maintenance free. Using our bollards will save the unwelcome expense of replacing damaged bollards.
